Panthers Leagues Club will not open its doors to unvaccinated patrons from December 15.

The State Government will allow those who haven’t been double vaccinated against COVID-19 to enjoy the same freedoms others have since October when December 15 rolls around.

But Panthers says it’s putting safety first and won’t go through the Christmas period allowing unvaccinated residents into the club.

“The health and wellbeing of our members, guests and staff are our number one priority at Panthers Penrith,” the club said in a statement.

“In order to ensure your continued safety, double vaccinations for all patrons will remain in effect until the 31st January, 2022.

“Proof of your double vaccination must be provided upon entry to the club and our QR code check-in system will remain.”

As a private business, Panthers is permitted to put whatever conditions of entry it likes on the club.
