Wanderers launch Sport & Business Program

The Western Sydney Wanderers have confirmed the launch of their new Sport & Business Program powered by SEDA Group.

The program has been designed to provide unique access to learning opportunities aligned to the Wanderers strategic vision across multiple areas including event and project management, talent identification and marketing.

The Sport & Business Program is an industry recognised course and comprises of both the SIS50319 Diploma of Sport and BSB50120 Diploma of Business as well as specialisations in Sport Development and Coaching.

Running over a 36-week duration, the program delivers inner sanctum experiences with the Wanderers and unrivalled access to key industry personnel.

Western Sydney Wanderers CEO John Tsatsimas was proud to launch the new program with SEDA Group.

“SEDA Group are the leaders in applied learning opportunities in the sports industry and we are very excited to be partnering with them on such a unique opportunity,” he said.

“We have operated a successful Year 11 and 12 program with SEDA Group and SEDA College NSW for the past five years. This has created some amazing pathways for these students to integrate with our business and develop their skills as they enter their careers.

“The launch of the new Wanderers Program will now provide post-secondary students the opportunity to study in a practical environment and learn from experts from inside the industry.”

The Wanderers and SEDA are running an information session for the first class intake in 2022 of the Wanderers Sport & Business Program to be held on Tuesday October 5 2021 from 7pm.
