Viliame Kikau and Brian To’o will face fitness tests later this week to confirm if they’ll play against Melbourne in Saturday afternoon’s Preliminary Final.
Meantime, Mitch Kenny has officially been ruled out of Saturday’s blockbuster at Suncorp Stadium due to an ankle injury. Tyrone May has been named to replace him.
Kikau has been named in the second row by coach Ivan Cleary but a leg complaint he suffered against the Eels will be monitored throughout the week.
To’o has been named on the extended bench, with Brent Naden retaining his spot on the wing for now. To’o will have to prove he’s overcome an ankle injury before he moves into the starting side.
Meanwhile, Melbourne has confirmed that speedster Josh Addo-Carr will return from injury against Penrith, forcing Isaac Lumelume to the extended bench.
