Penrith sisters missing in Wollongong

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate two Penrith sisters missing from the state’s Illawarra region.

Mataja Pagett, aged 14, and her sister Tequiah Schraader, aged 12, live in the Penrith area and have been staying the Wollongong area.

About 12.30pm on Sunday, March 29, the girls went for a supervised walk along the beach.

Once they reached the Continental Pools along Cliff Road, Wollongong the two girls ran away.

Police were notified and commenced a search for them. Despite numerous inquiries, police have been unable to find the sisters.

Family and police hold serious concerns for the girls due to their age.

Mataja is described as Caucasian 160-165cm tall, medium build, fair complexion, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Tequiah is described as Caucasian, 150-155cm tall, medium build, fair complexion, with brown hair and brown eyes.
