A Penrith man has been left stunned by the revelation that he has won the $200,000 1st Prize in a Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw for the second time.
The happy winner won the 1st Prize of Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1094, drawn today. He also shared that he won the same prize a decade ago.
When a NSW Lotteries official contacted the winner this afternoon, the man was left momentarily speechless by the news.
“Bullsh**t!” he finally exclaimed.
“This is just excellent news.
“Every fortnight or month, I buy a few Lucky Lotteries tickets. Many years ago I won the 1st Prize on Lucky Lotteries – so this is the second time I’ve won $200,000.
“It’s a bit of a shock, but I can handle it!
“I’ll pay off some debt and then go on a big trip! I want to go back to Europe – I went there about 10 years when I won the last prize.”
Having won the 1st Prize for the second time, the man declared Lucky Lotteries was his preferred game.
“I don’t play any other lottery games, I only play Lucky Lotteries because for me the odds are right – one chance in 200,000 to win the 1st Prize,” he said.
“I always play random numbers too!”
The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry of 10 random numbers from High Street Lotto, 447 High Street, Penrith.
High Street Lotto owner Lindsey Clark said it was fantastic his outlet had sold a 1st Prize winning Lucky Lotteries entry.
“This is the first big winner we’ve had since we opened in December last year. It’s great to be on the winner’s list!” he said.
“We wish the winner all the very best with their prize and can’t wait to sell another one!”
