The Penrith City Council Cinema in the Park event is back again in December, this time showing two movies over two nights.
Over 500 people attended the free event in April and many more are expected this time.
In addition to the screening of the movies there are a number of free activities to enjoy each night starting at 5pm.
Penrith Mayor Karen McKeown said after the success of the Cinema in the Park event earlier this year she is looking forward to enjoying these two screenings in December.
“There was such overwhelming support for more events like this from the families who attended in April,” Cr McKeown said.
“I encourage the community to bring along your picnic blankets and chairs to sit under the stars and enjoy the entertaining movies on offer.”
Following the free activities to start the event at Regatta Park, Emu Plains, the movies will start at dusk. There will also be food vendors on site to satisfy your candy bar cravings.
