Screaming through the suburbs

Australian rock legends The Screaming Jets will be heading back to western Sydney as part of their ‘Rock n Roll Rampage’ tour.

The band will be bringing their music to the Rooty Hill RSL stage next weekend and will no doubt have crowds rocking out to their biggest hits including ‘Sad Song’, ‘Better’, ‘Helping Hand’ and ‘October Grey’.

With a tour name like ‘Rock n Roll Rampage’, it’s clear the band, led by Dave Gleeson, are preparing for some killer live shows.

“The name refers to those great old days when rock bands would come storming through cities and suburbs, rockin’ out and contributing to the delinquency of minors,” Gleeson said of the show.

“This is what we still strive to do today. We are now contributing to the delinquency of minors and their parents… proudly.”

The Screaming Jets are also currently in the process of releasing a new album, so keep an eye out for more music from one of Australia’s biggest and best rock acts.

The Screaming Jets will be performing at Rooty Hill RSL on Saturday, October 31 at 7.30pm. Tickets are $45. For more information or to purchase tickets visit http://www.rootyhillrsl.com.au or call 9625 5500.
