Penrith is about to get a new and authentic Italian pizza/pasta bar that’s set to have everyone in town talking.
Product of Italy, located in Henry Street, is run by owner Luke Deeb and is expected to ignite the senses of the people of Penrith.
Not only will Product of Italy carry a delicious range of authentic Italian pizzas, made by real Italian chefs using the best ingredients, but they’ll also serve up to 10 different pasta dishes plus Italian drinks and Italian desserts.
“Our aim is to be unique and different from any other pizza place in Penrith… we won’t be serving up the usual pizzas like everyone else, we’ll be taking it to a whole new level,” Luke said.
“Product of Italy will be a proper Italian pizzeria using gourmet ingredients like bocconcini, ricotta cheese, prosciutto, prime salami and double smoked ham.
“Our bases will be thin and very crispy, and I have no doubt after you eat one pizza, you’ll want another.”
Pizza will come in a range of sizes including medium (11”), large (13”) and family (15”) and are expected to be at reasonable prices, so everyone can taste the goodness that is Product of Italy.
“We’ll also do pizza, pasta and garlic bread meal deals as well offer bambini pizzas for the kids,” Luke said.
Product of Italy will be open seven days a week for customers looking to dine-in or take away. They’ll also offer a friendly delivery service to the Penrith local area for up to 7km.
“We’re open Monday to Friday from 11am to 3pm then again at 5pm to 9.30pm,” Luke said.
“On Saturday and Sunday we’ll only be open from 5pm to 10pm both nights.”
Product of Italy will officially open next Thursday, October 29 but customers wanting to get a quick sample earlier can visit from Wednesday next week.
“This is my passion, I like to cook this kind of food,” Luke said.
Product of Italy is located in 4/76 Henry Street, Penrith (next to King Henry’s Court).
