A man is due to appear in court next month after driving with registration plates that belonged to a different car than his.
At about 11.15pm on Tuesday, July 14, police were travelling behind the 24-year-old driver on Swallow Street, Jamisontown.
After searching the registration plate in the system, police had cause to pull the driver over after it was shown that the plates belonged to a Toyota vehicle but the man was driving a Holden Barina.
Police spoke to the occupant where it was then realised he was a disqualified driver.
Police allege they also found a number of extra registration plates in the vehicle that belonged to the car he was driving.
There was also an alleged amount of drugs and drug implements found in the vehicle.
