Student brought electronic stun device to school

An investigation is underway after a student allegedly took an electronic stun device to school in Colyton.

Police from St Marys Local Area Command were called to the school in Carpenter Street about 1pm yesterday after reports a device had been confiscated from a 14-year-old boy.

There have been no reports of injuries associated with the device.

Police will speak with the child involved today, and investigations are now underway to determine where the child got the device.

Anyone with information about this incident, or who supplied the device, is asked to call St Marys Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
