Penrith utility Tyrone Peachey is set to miss next Monday night’s game against Manly and the May 29 blockbuster against arch rivals Parramatta after being charged by the NRL’s Match Review Committee today.
Peachey was hit with a grade two Dangerous Throw charge after an incident in the second half of the Panthers’ 8-5 loss to Brisbane last Friday night.
He will miss both the Manly and Parramatta games with an early plea but if he decides to fight the charge and loses, he’ll be outed for three weeks.
It is unlikely that the Panthers will fight the charge.
Meanwhile, Brisbane’s Josh Maguire was charged with a Dangerous Throw on Penrith’s Bryce Cartwright in the same game and is facing between one and two games out.
