A woman has died after a house fire at Jamisontown this morning.
Emergency services were called to Anakai Drive about 1.30am, where they found a house well alight.
The fire was extinguished by Fire and Rescue NSW, who pulled a woman out of the home.
She was treated by ambulance paramedics but died at the scene.
Although yet to be formally identified, the body is believed to be that of a 71-year-old woman.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Detectives from Penrith Local Area Command will prepare a report for the Coroner.
