One of Australia’s most successful rock bands, Rose Tattoo, will be bringing their raw energy live to St Marys Band Club for an unforgettable night of bad boy rock and roll.

In the category of “cult bands” Rose Tattoo has been at the top of the pile for years.

The Aussie rock band manages to create a raw style of blues rock with a hot mix of slide guitars, pounding hooks and a sharp rhythm.

Though most bands pump out music like fast-food, frontman Angry Anderson delivers a feast of quality songs for his fans.

The best thing about Rose Tattoo is the band can take a punch and are full of vitality, they put every kick in the face behind them and still have the energy to carry on and deliver a new quality product.

Rose Tattoo formed in Sydney in 1976 and went on to produce some of this country’s most iconic rock hits. Their most prolific songs included ‘Bad Boy For Love’, Rock ‘n’ Roll Outlaw’, ‘Nice Boys’, ‘We Can’t Be Beaten’ and ‘Scarred For Life’.

In 2006 they were given the honour of being inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame. While many of the original line-up have sadly passed on, there’s no stopping Angry Anderson whose continuing on the legacy of his beloved Rose Tattoo into the future. Rose Tattoo are at the St Marys Band Club on Friday, January 11 at 8pm.
