It’s been tough going for locals trying to get to work this morning with major problems both on the roads and public transport.
A major truck crash on the M7 caused significant problems for the morning peak, while train services where thrown into chaos because of a police operation at Seven Hills.
As at 11am, services are up to 10 minutes late on the Western Line.
As a result, some trains out of the city on the North Shore Line are up to 20 minutes late.
Buses are supplementing services between Hornsby and Berowra, however Intercity services are unaffected.
