Penrith's modest build-up for the 2012 NRL season has continued, with the club today signing Danny Galea.
Galea, a local junior, has agreed to a two year deal.
"It's great to be given the chance to return home," the current Raiders player said.
"While my time in Canberra has been fun, I can't wait to hook up with a few old mates in Luke Lewis and Michael Gordon."
Panthers Football Commercial Manager, Phil Moss, said it was a great signing.
"Danny is a welcome addition to the Panthers and another example of the type of player we are trying to attract to the club," he said.
Penrith has previously announced the signings of Cameron Ciraldo and Chris Armit.
