Guns stolen during Luddenham break-in

An investigation has commenced following the theft firearms during a break-in at Luddenham on Friday night.

About 11.30pm on Friday, an 85-year-old woman was at her home address on Campbell Street when she was woken by a noise.

She got up to investigate and saw a man inside her home; he immediately ran from the premises without incident.

Police were called and a check of the premises revealed two registered firearms had been stolen from a gun safe.

Officers from Nepean Police Area Command are investigating the break-in and would like to speak with anyone who may have information that can assist.
