Blue Mountains Historical Society – Meeting and Talk

The Annual General Meeting of the Blue Mountains Historical Society will be held on Saturday 6 April at 10.00 am. PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGED TIME.
The meeting and talk will be held at the Society’s rooms at 99 Blaxland Road, Wentworth Falls.
Ms Kelsey McMorrow will present a talk entitled “John Tebbutt and his Instrument Legacy”.
Ms McMorrow is Acting Museum Curator with the Hawkesbury City Council.
Central to her talk will be the story of John Tebbutt, Peninsula House and Tebbutt’s Observatory, a heritage-listed residence and former observatory situated in Windsor, NSW.
Coffee, tea and biscuits will be available from 9.45 am.
Meeting opens at 10.00 am, free for members, $5.00 for non-members.
