A St Clair man has been fined $700 for driving whilst suspended and drug possession.

On August 2, police observed a car turn from the Great Western Highway, Werrington into a service station and car wash.

The man tried to park next to a vacuum cleaner several times and nearly ran into several parked vehicles.

The man was then observed to drive his car into a colourbond fence.

Police then watched as the man fell out of his car and attempted to clean it by vacuuming the exterior roof.

When police approached the man he was not steady on his feet and they saw a glass ice pipe in his vehicle.

Police then searched the car and found a bag containing a white crystalised substance.

He was fined at Penrith Local Court yesterday.
