Police launch appeal after 12-year-old boy goes missing from St Marys

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a 12-year-old boy missing from St Marys.

Ronald Elvy, aged 12, was last seen in St Marys about 11pm last night and there are serious concerns for his welfare.

“When he was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Nepean Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts,” a Police spokesperson said.

“Police and family hold concerns for Ronald’s welfare due to his age.

“Ronald is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 140cm tall, thin build, short brown hair and brown eyes.”

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black trackpants and was carrying a black backpack.

Ronald is known to frequent the Mount Druitt, St Marys and Penrith areas.

Anyone with information into Ronald’s whereabouts is urged to call Nepean Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
