A man has been arrested and charged with a string of break and enters after allegedly breaking into a home in Sydney’s west last Friday.
About 11.15am last Friday, a woman returned to her home on Bellwood Close, Werrington, to find it broken into.
Police attended and commenced an investigation.
Later in the morning, police attempted to stop a Mitsubishi four wheel drive on Aurora Drive, Tregear.
A man ran from the car and was arrested by police after a foot pursuit. Two other male passengers were also arrested.
The 34-year-old man who ran from police was taken to St Marys Police Station where he was charged with six counts of break and enter, including the earlier break and enter at Werrington.
The other two men were released pending further inquiries.
