Tickets to the 2024 Sydney Royal Easter Show go on sale from Midday today.
The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) CEO and Sydney Royal Easter Show General Manager, Murray Wilton, said the RAS is excited about this year’s event.
“The Sydney Royal Easter Show is an iconic event that brings the country to the city every year and with so much to see and do at the 2024 Show, I encourage people to take advantage of early bird savings and plan ahead,” Wilton said.
“Family tickets are available at $110 during our early bird period, offering the best value day out in Sydney, with 12 hours of free entertainment, competitions, exhibits, activities, and family fun.
“Brand-new entertainment is guaranteed to thrill with trick-riders, stockman vs cowboys, and a bison stampede happening every day in the Main Arena.
“Showgoers can pat and cuddle more animals than ever in the Farmyard Nursery, see and taste the best of what Australian agriculture has to offer, and watch on as competitors vie it out in all their favourite competitions including the 125th year of the woodchop and sawing competition. There truly is something for everyone at the 2024 Show.”
Tickets to the 2024 Show will again be sold almost exclusively online and must be purchased for a specific day, with the event maintaining its daily capacity limit of 80,000 ticket holders.
Public transportation is again included in the ticket price.
Early bird tickets will be available up until 11.59pm on March 21 with savings of up to 15 per cent to be made on family tickets while pre-purchased Carnival Fun Pass credit packages will save you up to 17 per cent.
With this year’s event running outside of the school holidays to align with the Easter Weekend, after 4pm tickets will be available for purchase before 11.59PM (AEDT) on March 21, with prices starting at $35 for an adult and $16 for child.
“As an event run by a not-for-profit organisation, Showgoers are not only supporting Australian farmers by attending the Sydney Royal Easter Show, but they are actively investing in the future of Australian agriculture by supporting the RAS’ incredible agricultural education and RAS Foundation programs,” Wilton said.
“With so much to see and do, make sure to join us at the 2024 Sydney Royal Easter Show to make new memories and find your happy place.”
