A man has died after being stabbed at St Clair this afternoon with a manhunt now underway for the perpetrator.
Just before 4.30pm, police and emergency services were called to a home on Parroo Close, St Clair, following reports of the stabbing.
Officers from Nepean Police Area Command arrived a short time later and located an unconscious man with serious injuries.
Police conducted CPR until the arrival of NSW Ambulance paramedics, and despite their efforts, the man died at the scene.
It is believed the man is in his 20s.
“Initial inquiries suggest another man came to the property and became involved in an altercation and stabbed the man before fleeing the scene,” a Police spokesperson said.
“The two female occupants were not physically injured but will be assessed by paramedics.”
A search is underway to locate the other man, who may still be armed. Information from witnesses indicate the man may be travelling on a dirt bike.
The man is described as being aged in his mid-20s, of African appearance, with a solid build and black hair in short dreadlocks.
If sighted, members of the public are urged not to approach the man, instead contact Triple Zero (000) immediately.
