A man has died in a crash on the M4 at Orchard Hills this afternoon.
The man was the sole occupant of a van that flipped and caught fire near Kent Road.
Police have confirmed that he died at the scene.
Emergency crews closed all citybound lanes of the M4 for some time, with two lanes remaining closed while investigations continue. Westbound traffic is also slow as it passes the scene.
UPDATE: The M4 has reopened eastbound at The Northern Rd but 2 of 3 eastbound lanes of the M4 remain closed just past Kent Rd at Orchard Hills. A reduced speed limit is in place so slow down & take care in the area. The eastbound on-ramp to the M4 from Kent Rd remains closed.
