A motor vehicle crash in Sydney’s west has left two men seriously injured.
Just after 7pm yesterday, Sunday, December 4, emergency services responded to reports of a single-vehicle crash at the intersection of Fourth Avenue and The Northern Road, Llandilo.
Police have been told an orange Holden Torana was traveling west along Fourth Avenue when it left the roadway, crashing into a tree.
Witnesses stopped to render assistance, before officers attached to Nepean Police Area Command and NSW Ambulance arrived.
The driver – a man aged 47 – sustained serious head, chest and leg injuries.
The passenger – a man aged 25 – sustained serious head injuries.
Both men were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a serious condition.
Police established a crime scene as specialist officers from the Crash Investigation Unit commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
As inquiries continue, police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or has dashcam footage, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800-333-000.
