Premiership-winning Penrith forward Moses Leota is set to miss between eight and 10 weeks of football due to a shoulder injury.
The 26-year-old suffered a fracture in his left shoulder while making a tackle late in the 28-6 win over Manly.
The Weekender’s Peter Lang revealed over the weekend on Twitter that the injury was worse than originally expected.
INJURY UPDATE: LEOTA OUT EXTENDED PERIOD – Following on from initial good news on Friday it seems that Leota’s shoulder is not responding to Physio and he could be out for an extended period. Will pass on any updates once they become available. #PantherPride

Panthers has confirmed the affected area is the shoulder socket component of the scapula, which means Leota will commence a rehabilitation program and be sidelined for eight to 10 weeks.
