The countdown to Christmas is on and what a better way to celebrate then cruising around town to marvel at festive light displays.
There are streets all throughout the Penrith LGA that are spreading joy and the Weekender has found some of the standouts to visit.
St Clair
The houses along Chatsworth Road and surrounding streets in St Clair are full of bright and cheery displays with inflatables.
Number 64 resident, Vanessa Murray, said she has been decorating for 10 years and loves getting into the Christmas spirit.
“We have many people come to see our displays and thank us for doing it for the community and keeping the Christmas spirit alive in our suburb,” she said.
“We have five kids ourselves and nothing brings more joy to us than seeing their faces every night when they go out to look at their Christmas lights.”
Glenmore Park
Glenmore Park shines bright like a diamond with houses decked out with decorations in Esson Place, Laurel Circuit and Troon Circuit, which you will not want to miss.
Kids will be able to spot all their favourite characters as well at 60 Kiber Drive with Spider-Man, Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh and Moana.
Cranebrook

South Penrith
South Penrith’s spirit is growing with more houses being decorated, including on Fragar Road.
