Truck rolls ahead of busy peak hour on Castlereagh Road in Penrith

Traffic on Castlereagh Road in Penrith has been thrown into chaos after a truck rolled at Andrews Road.

The accident happened at around 1.20pm today.

Castlereagh Road is closed to northbound traffic, with police on the scene diverting traffic into Andrews Road.

Southbound traffic is also delayed.

It is expected to take several hours to clear the scene with specialist equipment required to remove the truck.

It’s understood nobody was seriously injured in the crash.
