Motorists are facing a long drive home this afternoon with a truck accident closing the M4 Motorway at Claremont Meadows.
The accident has happened just before peak hour and is likely to cause chaos throughout the afternoon.
All westbound lanes have beeen closed and emergency crews are on the scene near the Kent Road overpass.
Westbound traffic is queued back past Mamre Road with the delays expected to worsen over the next hour.
Motorists are being advised to avoid the area and use the Great Western Highway as an alternative.
It is understood there are no serious injuries.
