Christmas is coming up fast, which means the Penrith Regional Gallery’s annual Twilight Christmas Market is only a few weeks away.
On Sunday, November 29, the gallery grounds will come alive with market stalls, music, beautiful art and tasty treats.
“This event is a fabulous first introduction to the gallery for many visitors and it’s a wonderful opportunity to unearth our local creative talent,” Gallery Director, Dr Lee-Anne Hall said.
Artisans will be selling a range of products including handmade jewellery, paper art, plants, vintage collectables, fashion, art, homewares, up-cycled designs and much more.
Foodies will be in heaven with the Cantina Movil food truck selling delicious Mexican street fare, cheese platter delights from Con’s Continental Deli, sushi from Toko Sushi, BBQ ribs and mouthwatering meals from Cafe at Lewers.
Providing the soundtrack for the Sunday afternoon markets will be local musician Arianne and popular Blue Mountains singer-songwriter Jarrah Ferris-Smith.
While you’re there be sure to check out the gallery’s current contemporary art exhibition ‘Desert Song’ by Tracey Deep. If you’ve never been to the gallery before, this is your chance!
The Twilight Christmas Market will be held on Sunday, November 29 from 2pm to 7pm. Entry is free. For more information visit http://www.penrithregionalgallery.org or call 4735 1100.
