Train commuters are facing another tough trip home with delays again impacting the rail network.
An incident requiring emergency services at Atarmon has caused problems across the network, including on the T1 Western Line.
Numerous services are running behind schedule while some services – including the 5.13pm train from Central to Penrith – have been cancelled.
Commuters are being advised to allow plenty of extra travel time.
The delays ironically are occurring on a fare free travel day, implemented by the State Government following continued issues on the network in recent months.
