A man has been arrested and is assisting police with their inquiries into a death at St Clair yesterday.
About 12.20pm yesterday, emergency services were called to Wills Glen, near the intersection of Barrallier Way, after reports a man had been injured.
Ambulance paramedics treated the man, but he died at the scene.
He is yet to be formally identified.
A post mortem is being conducted today to establish the man’s identity and the cause of his death.
Police from St Marys Local Area Command have formed Strike Force Neumayer to investigate the incident. They are being assisted by detectives from State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad.
Following inquiries, investigators arrested a 31-year-old man at Sydney Airport about 6am today.
He has been taken to Mascot Police Station, where he is assisting with inquiries into this matter.
No charges have been laid at this time.
The investigation continues.
