Students from Penrith Anglican College have donated $5,500 to Parkinson’s NSW.

Each year, Year 10 students at the College work across the year to support a charity through initiatives like cake stalls, mufti days and selling chocolates.

“Giving back is a very important part of an education at Penrith Anglican College,” Principal Felicity Grima said.

“More than just focusing on academic achievements, we strive to build the character of each student and supporting charities is a great way to get students to think beyond themselves.”

Last week at the annual Year 10 Charity Ball, students presented a cheque for $5,500 to a representative of Parkinson’s NSW.
