An investigation is underway after two vehicles were destroyed by fire in the driveway of a home in St Clair this morning.

Emergency services were called to Blackwell Avenue about 12.45am (Tuesday, November 19), and found a Hyundai I30 and a Mazda 3 well-alight.

Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished the blaze; however, both vehicles were destroyed. There was no damage to neighbouring homes.

Officers from Nepean Police Area Command established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation into the cause of the fire, which is being treated as suspicious.

Police are appealing for anyone with information about the fire – or who has dashcam or CCTV vision relevant to the investigation – to contact Nepean Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
