Denman earthquake felt in Penrith

Local residents have reported feeling tremors from a 5.0 magnitude earthquake.

The earthquake has occurred in the small town of Denman in the Upper Hunter.

More than 1100 people have filed ‘Felt Reports’ with Geoscience Australia, including several from the Penrith area.

A number of people have taken to local community groups, confirming they felt tremors from the quake.

There’s no reports of injury or damage at this stage.
