A man has died after he was stabbed in Emu Plains this afternoon.
Just after 5pm police were called to a home on Westbank Avenue, following reports a man had been stabbed.
On arrival, they found a 59-year-old man suffering stab wounds to his torso.
Ambulance Paramedics assisted at the scene and the man was taken to Nepean Hospital in a serious condition. He later died in hospital.
A 34-year-old man is in police custody and is currently assisting police with their inquires.
Police believe the incident is domestic-related.
