Nathan Cleary has become the highest point scorer in Penrith’s history.

The 26-year-old went past Ryan Girder’s 1,572 points with his second goal of the night against the Roosters at Allianz Stadium this evening.

It’s an incredible feat given Cleary still has plenty of football ahead of him.

Girdler took 11 seasons to reach his points total for the Panthers and played 204 game for the club.

Cleary is likely to play his 200th game for the Panthers early next year.

“It’s pretty cool I guess,” Cleary told Fox Sports.

“It’s become home to me.”
