Cookies Ice Creamery on Henry Street will close its doors this weekend.

The business has confirmed its final trading days will be this Friday and Saturday.

This is the second time the business has faced closure. After opening in 2021, it announced in January last year its intention to close in February if a new owner wasn’t found.

Anthony and Ashlee Ginger took over the business in March last year.

“It is with heavy heart we announce that Cookies Ice Creamery will be closing its doors this weekend, we want to to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who supported us during our journey & thank you for being a part of our story,” the business posted on social media today.
“We will be opening this week on Friday 5pm-10pm, Saturday 3pm-10pm, limited stock will apply till sold out. We are offering 25% off on all items this weekend so come on in for your last yummy desserts.”
