Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Penrith.
Lekisha Chambers, aged 13, was last seen at a shopping centre on High Street, Penrith, about 2pm on Sunday, March 9.
When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Nepean Police Area Command were notified on the same day and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Police hold concerns for Lakisha’s welfare due to her age.
She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 150cm – 160cm tall, of thin build, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Lekisha was last seen wearing a black jumper, black shorts and black shoes.
She is known to frequent the Mt Druitt, Blacktown, and Penrith areas.
Initial inquiries have established Lekisha may have been in Lithgow this week.
