A man has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed in the head in the Penrith CBD.
About 6.15pm today (Monday, June 3), emergency services were called to High Street following reports of a stabbing.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 41-year-old man at the scene for a stab wound to the head, before he was taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
Officers attached to Nepean Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
It’s understood no arrests have been made.
