There’s plenty of Christmas activities happening around Penrith as the festive season ramps up. Here’s five of our favourites…
A Ruby Christmas
Book your tickets now for ‘A Ruby Christmas’. On at John Lees Centre next Saturday, December 16 at 2pm and 7pm, the show will feature a talented local cast of singers and dancers performing popular and traditional season classics, with special appearances by Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, and Santa Claus. Free concert at The Joan
Formed in 1895, the NSW Police Force proudly boasts the country’s oldest concert band. Next Tuesday, December 12 at 2pm, celebrate the festive season at The Joan as the NSW Police Band perform some of your favourite Christmas songs. Admission to the show is free. Brunch with Santa
Santa is coming to town and he’s inviting you to join him and his little elves for a magical brunch on the Ironbark Terrace at Saints this Sunday, December 10. Christmas Toy Raffle at Panthers
Panthers’ huge Christmas Toy and Ham Raffle is happening this Sunday, December 10 from 3pm in The Backyard. There’s over 50 toys to be one plus family fun including a jumping castle, snow cones, carolers and much more. The raffle itself commences at 4pm. Tickets can be purchased from the promotions desk.
Carols on Christmas Eve
Start a new Christmas tradition or continue an old one with Christmas Eve Outdoor Carols at Emu Plains Anglican Church. Arrive from 5.30pm on December 24 for a night of carol singing on the lawn. There’s also a free sausage sizzle.
