Are you ready to make a splash in Penrith this summer?

Where is Penrith Beach?

Penrith Beach is located as part of Western Sydney Lakes on Castlereagh Road at Castlereagh, just north of Penrith.

When does Penrith Beach open?

The beach will be open from Midday on Tuesday, December 19.

What are the opening days and times?

The beach is open every day from 7am to 7pm from Tuesday, December 19 to Sunday, March 3 with the exception of Christmas Day.

Parking

All-day parking passes can be booked online. There is no casual parking – all parking must be pre-booked. Pre-book here. Parking is free.

Shuttle Bus

Shuttle buses run hourly from Penrith Station from 11am but despite it being school holidays, they only on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Return buses run from the beach to Penrith Station from 11.30am until 4.30pm. Book shuttle bus tickets here. The bus is free.

Getting dropped off

A kiss and ride zone will operate for people being dropped off at the beach.

Can I bring powered watercraft?

No.

Can I bring animals?

No.

Accessibility

The shuttle buses are not wheelchair friendly.

There will be accessibility features at the beach, including mats to allow wheelchairs to fully submerge in the water.
