The rail network is in chaos this morning following an incident at Kingswood that has essentially shut down the T1 Western and Blue Mountains Lines.
The incident happened just after 7am, with emergency services called.
No trains are running between St Marys and Penrith in either direction, essentially shutting down one of the busiest rail corridors during the morning peak.
Replacement buses have started to arrive at Kingswood and will be given arriving at Penrith, Werrington and St Marys from around 9am.
Commuters are being advised to seek alternative transport where possible.
