Where to now for the Western Sydney Wanderers?

The A-League club has sacked yet another coach, with Carl Robinson told today his services were no longer required.

It follows the club’s 3-0 defeat at the hands of Brisbane Roar last night.

The club currently sits in second last spot on the ladder.

“Western Sydney Wanderers FC have today confirmed the departure of Isuzu UTE A-League head coach Carl Robinson effective immediately,” a club statement said.

“The Wanderers would like to thank Carl for his time at the club over the last one and half seasons and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

“The club will shortly make an announcement regarding the head coach position for the rest of the season.”

Robinson was only appointed in October 2020 and is the latest in a long line of short-lived coaching appointments at the club.
