Are you a builder, demolisher or excavation company? Then you’re in luck! A brand-new state-of-the-art Material Recovery Facility recently opened up in the local area.
Operating in the industrial section of Emu Heights, Recycle Assist is an EPA licensed Material Recovery Facility that services the construction and demolition industries.
Using an efficient trommel and picking belt, Recycle Assist separates at least 90 per cent of the materials brought to them.
They accept construction and demolition waste including metals, timbers, plasterboard, green waste, bricks, masonry, concrete, plastics as well as paper and cardboard.
Recycle Assist is currently a purpose-built facility for builders and demolishers. The facility’s surface is concrete hardstand, meaning your vehicle won’t get bogged and you won’t leave with nails in your tyres.
The site is also clean and safe, with the friendly team on-site sweeping the area regularly to keep it up to standard.
The team believe that a waste facility should not be defined by being dirty, smelly, messy or unfriendly, but rather the experience should be one like walking into a retail store where you are welcomed with friendly staff and great customer service.
“We set up Recycle Assist for customers to experience a new way of handling and disposing their building waste materials – one that is easy, safe, enjoyable and rewarding,” Recycle Assist Operations Manager, Afram Hanna said.
Recycle Assist is here to serve their customers. They are flexible and fair, with a payment structure that rewards people, via discounts, for source separating materials. They also recycle all of their water on-site and use solar to power the business.
But perhaps the major advantage of Recycle Assist is that customers are in and out in less than 10 minutes, with the team willing to help you unload your waste where it is safe to do so.
Recycle Assist is located at 25 Bromley Road, Emu Heights – just three minutes off the M4 at Russell Street. They are open Monday to Friday from 7am to 5pm and Saturday from 9am to 1pm.
