A third offender involved in a violent car park brawl at a fast food restaurant last year has been sentenced.

Dean Hooper, 23, must perform 150 hours of community service work and abstain from drinking alcohol for 12 months as part of a two-year good behaviour bond.

Hooper was among five men who set upon Shannan Rushworth and Tyson Gampe in the early hours of February 3, 2019.

Mr Rushworth was left fighting for life when he was knocked unconscious and had his head stomped on.

Hooper, who did not perpetrate any physical violence upon the two victims, was found guilty of a single count of ‘affray’ following a defended hearing earlier his year.

He was sentenced at Penrith Local Court this afternoon.

His co-offenders, Blake and Mitchell Milgate, 23 and 20, were jailed for 18 months with a 12-month non-parole period late last year after pleading guilty to ‘assault occasioning actual bodily harm’ and ‘affray’ in the Local Court.

Wendell Milgate, 21, and Byron Donovan, 20, are facing the most serious charges stemming from the attack and are due to be sentenced in the District Court on June 25.
