Jewellery and accessories retailer Colette by Colette Hayman has fallen into voluntary administration.

It is the latest retail collapse in Australia and comes weeks after Harris Scarfe, Bardot and Jeanswest also confirmed their troubled futures.

Colette by Colette Hayman has a store in Westfield Penrith.

Deloitte Restructuring Services has been appointed as administrators. The Colette network has 37 branches in NSW and dozens more across the country.

Administrators say a weak retail environment is to blame for the company’s woes, but they are confident they can secure a future for the business.

The stores will continue to trade for now.
