A man has been arrested after a pursuit and crash in Werrington County overnight.
About 1.30am this morning, police attempted to stop a sedan on Victoria Street, Werrington County, due to the manner of driving of the vehicle.
The vehicle failed to stop and a pursuit was initiated. A short time later the vehicle entered bushland at the intersection of Gibson Street and Reid Street, before driving down an embankment into a ravine.
The 33-year-old man suffered minor injuries, eventually being removed from the ravine with the assistance of fire fighters and Ambulance Paramedics about 2am.
He has been taken to Nepean Hospital in a stable condition under police guard.
It is expected he will face charges later today.
