Love music but can’t spare the cash for concert tickets? Then head to The Joan this Sunday for an afternoon of free live performances.
Classical music station Fine Music 102.5FM will be hosting their biggest live broadcast ever, featuring some of Australia’s greatest musical talent.
The community event will kick off at 2pm with a celebration of 1920s jazz with The Great Gatsby Orchestra, followed by the ARIA nominated Acacia String Quartet.
Fine Music Kruger Scholarship winning violinist Rebecca Gill will also be performing along with pianist Paul Cheung and the talented young musicians from the Sydney Symphony Orchestra Fellows.
Rounding out the afternoon will be ARIA award winning a capella group The Idea of North who have earned the praise of jazz legend James Morrison.
With world renowned concert pianist Gerard Willems AM also on the line-up this event is a must for lovers of classical, jazz and blues music.
