He’s most well known for his work as part of award-winning country music duo McAlister Kemp, but Troy Kemp is stepping out on his own with a new solo album and tour.

The country music star will be holding his official album launch for ‘Against the Grain’ at Rooty Hill RSL on Friday, December 4, giving local audiences the chance to be some of the first to hear the new tracks live.

The album was written and recorded by Troy, along with good friend and guitar virtuoso Jeremy Barnes.

“We set out to write a bunch of country songs for an album that has a little bit of something for everyone,” he said.

The upcoming album has already earned Troy a number one hit with the single ‘How We Roll Around Here’.

If you’re a country music fan this is one concert you won’t want to miss.

Troy Kemp will be holding his album launch at Rooty Hill RSL on Friday, December 4 at 8pm. Tickets are $15 for children and $25 for adults. For more information or to purchase tickets visit http://www.rootyhillrsl.com.au or call 9625 5500.
