Former Wallabies coach and popular 2GB broadcaster Alan Jones will be the star guest at next month’s Penrith Emus Major Fundraiser.
The radio legend, who coached the Wallabies in the mid-80s, will also be bringing with him some very well-known and respected rugby union friends for a night not to be missed.
‘A Night with Alan Jones and Friends’ will be held on Saturday, November 7 from 6.30pm to 11pm at the Penrith Paceway.
Penrith Emus President, Jim Hook, said the club were looking forward to next season and were currently in the middle of re-building a club that the west can be proud of.
“What we need is community support,” he said.
“We need local businesses and residents to get behind us and show the other rugby dominated areas of Sydney that we are here – and we are here to stay.
“What better way to start our 2016 campaign than with a high-calibre night like this.”
Held at Penrith Paceway, the night includes a three course meal and beverages plus live entertainment.
Tickets cost $110 per person or $1100 for a table of 10.
